Mindful Hiking & Meditation Workshop

  • Squaxin Park 2600 East Bay Drive Northeast Olympia, WA, 98506 United States (map)

Come join us on an intimate hike at Squaxin Park where we introduce you to our organization, C.A.R.E., discussing trauma recovery, plant teachings for social and emotional growth, and enjoy group meditation on the beautiful Budd Inlet.

My name is Dee. I'm the founder of the nonprofit wellness center focused on healing & hospitality for BIPOC and allies recovering from trauma, Christlike AgroTourism for Racial Equality (C.A.R.E.) Wellness Center & Services. While my mission is fundraising for farmland to headquarter this future wellness center, I hope to take visitors on intimate hiking & nature walks to experience Olympia's parks, farms and sites and discuss the philosophy of wellness & spiritual balance.

With a diverse background & interest in behavioral health & wellness, I've become devoted to healing. I've also had personal experience in recovering from mental & physical health challenges and sought rehabilitation in 2019 via international travel, AgroTourism, yoga & meditation.

This experience will include an intimate nature walk at Olympia's beloved Squaxin Park. We'll discuss philosophy, wellness, foraging and sustainability, enjoy a meditation workshop, & I'll introduce you to my nonprofit, C.A.R.E. Your experience will include a mindful walk, group meditation, with an option to independently continue exploring more of the Budd Inlet's Burfoot Park and Boston Harbor Marina for food & drink.

Let me be your guide, meditation facilitator and BFF for the day! Your fee goes towards this great experience & towards a great cause!
