The C.A.R.E. Wellness Center is a 501(c)3-approved nonprofit organization founded in 2020 and based in Washington state. Christlike Agro-Tourism for Racial Equality (or C.A.R.E.) is tasked with developing safe, holistic spaces for people of color and allies of equality to retreat and combat effects of Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome (PTSS). Our program focuses on self-mastery, and the holistic balancing of, what we call, The Holy Trinity: mind, body, and spirit.

C.A.R.E. is non-religious and non-denominational, while maintaining its roots in the lifetime journey to understanding, and acceptance with faith in unconditional love. Our techniques are universal, including principles found in Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and A Course In Miracles. Our mission is to foster inclusion of all people in a collaborated effort for inner peace; less ego, less fear, less guilt, and less shame.

What is C.A.R.E.?

Our Mission.

To provide a safe farm stay, holistic retreat, and wellness programs for black, indigenous, people of color and allies, to recover from Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome via Spirituality, AgroTourism, and Racial Justice.

Join us in our fight against fear, and the pursuit of more balance within our lives.

Our Vision

Our Vision is Connectivity: to Nature; to God; and to Self. Our goal of acquiring farmland is to establish a safe spiritual retreat for people of color to escape constant trauma and begin repairing their fractured foundation and realize self-actualization. Our programs are a research community project with a goal of empowering others to heal from PTSS.

Although in its early stages of development, C.A.R.E. is commissioned to develop a safe lodging and agro-touristic experience where others can retreat and experience healing for mind, body, and spirit. Our mission has already touched so many lives who have made (re)commitments to serve on the side of LOVE and reject their ego in order to heal. Join us in this movement! #TeamNoFear

We are committed to respecting life, understanding, and appreciating the purpose in each living thing.

“I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me”

For some, the scariest thing in life is not DYING, my friends...it’s LIVING. With my son's full support in 2018, I donated all of my belongings, gave up my life and job in California, and in 2019 flew to Southern Europe on March 4th, on a dime and a prayer because I was tired of being afraid of living in my truth, and experiencing my own greatness. For so many years, I didn’t think I was worthy of being great and wanted to make a unique contribution to the progress of the human condition, specifically the progress of people of color. I wanted to make change, but realized the best way to do that, was to go inward and better myself first.

For 6 months I backpacked Italy, Albania and Greece, volunteering with eco-friendly businesses and farms, meeting phenomenal locals and world travelers who empowered me and restored my faith in life and in people. It was a tough, self-initiated rehabilitation program that proved to birth the Queen that I am today. It wasn’t luxurious, comfortable, or carefree. It was painstakingly difficult for someone like myself, diagnosed with severe depression, an anxiety disorder, and a newly sober mind. But there were profound lessons and I truly found Ggod and developed a real sense of self-love and purpose.

Through detoxification, self discipline, heavy research, painful laboring and prayer, my purpose was revealed: developing a farm wellness center focused on understanding and healing, as a movement towards humanity, equality and global community. This mission IS MY protest and my activism against the harsh realities of today’s injustices within The United States.

I returned to Washington state late 2019 for an apprenticeship with local eco-farmers and activists, learning food forestry, permaculture, bee preservation, and sustainable farm living. With my experience in business management, customer service and hospitality, the development of C.A.R.E. was underway while I continued collecting experience, networking and researching ways to protest injustices.

Today, C.A.R.E. is a licensed nonprofit corporation. Tomorrow, with your support, farmland can be acquired as the headquarters to our community wellness center. There, lodging/camping, vegan dining, and recreational therapies can be pursued. We are also developing programs that will serve BIPOC youth with justice involvement and/or mental health concerns, helping them restore balance and achieve spiritual rehabilitation as they integrate back into their communities.
